Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch a new model in 2022. With the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R budget hatchback updated for 2022, it appears that the carmaker's flagship offering, the Maruti Suzuki XL6, will be introduced soon.

The refreshed Maruti Suzuki XL6 was recently spotted at a dealer stockyard, sporting new silver alloy wheels. Aside from that, the XL6 may see a minor revision to the front grille, which may now be in line with the recently launched Maruti Suzuki Baleno.

Aside from cosmetic changes, the XL6 may receive new features and new upholstery to give the MPV a new lease on life. Automatic climate control, LED fog lamps, cruise control, auto-folding ORVMs, a touchscreen infotainment system, and captain seats in the second row are currently available on the XL6.

The 1.5-litre K15 petrol engine will remain under the hood of the XL6. The motor in the current model produces 103bhp and 138Nm torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a four-speed torque converter automatic transmission. When it is released, the Maruti Suzuki XL6 facelift will compete in the MPV segment with the newcomer Kia Carens.
