Mahindra registers the trademark '4Xplor,' which will be used for the Scorpio-4WD N's system.

  • Different driving modes are very likely to come
  • Four-wheel drive is likely to be available in higher-end models.
As the launch of the Mahindra Scorpio-N approaches, new information about the SUV's drivetrain has emerged on the internet. The Indian automaker has registered the term '4Xplor' with the trademark registry. The higher four-wheel-drive variants of the SUV will almost certainly bear the '4Xplor' suffix.

The recently leaked Mahindra Scorpio-N owner's manual also reveals a dial for engaging the four-wheel-drive setup as well as different terrain/traction modes. Apart from that, Mahindra has confirmed that the Scorpio-N will be powered by 2.0-litre petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines. These will be available with manual or automatic transmissions.

The Scorpio-N will have a larger touchscreen infotainment system, an electric sunroof, a 360-degree camera, a wireless charger, a Sony stereo system, automatic climate control, USB Type-C ports, cruise control, a push start/stop button, electrically adjustable ORVMs with turn indicators, and a flat-bottom steering wheel with the new brand logo.
