Pre-orders for the new Citroen C3 are now open; prices will be announced on July 20.

 


Citroen India debuted the C3 in the country last month. Pre-orders for the C3, which is aimed at the budget end of the segment, are now open. Prices will be announced later this month, on July 20. The micro-SUV comes in two models: Live and Feel.


After the C5 Aircross SUV, the Citroen C3 is the second model to be introduced in India. With a split headlamp setup, two-tone paint scheme, fore and aft silver skid plates, and plastic cladding, it gets the familiar family face. Customers will have the option of four mono-tone and two dual-tone shades.


The C3's interior features a digital instrument cluster, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, leatherette upholstery, a flat-bottom steering wheel with mounted controls, and a manual HVAC system.


The Citroen C3 is powered by two petrol engines, one 1.2-litre petrol and one 1.2-litre turbo-petrol. The former has an output of 81bhp, whereas the latter has a powerful output of 109bhp. There are two transmission options: a five-speed manual and a six-speed manual. There is no automatic transmission available.

The Citroen C3 is expected to start at Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom). Tata Punch, Maruti Suzuki Ignis, and Nissan Magnite are among the C3's rivals.

2022 Tata Tiago i-CNG: Variants explained

  Tata Motors launched the i-CNG variant of the Tiago  in India earlier this week, with prices starting at Rs 6.10 lakh (ex-showroom) Under the hood of the Tata Tiago  i-CNG variant is a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, Revotron petrol engine that has been tuned to produce 72bhp and 95Nm of torque. Will Maruti Drop The Vitara Moniker With The New Brezza?

 It may be time for the segment-leading sub-4m SUV to establish its own identity within the Maruti Suzuki lineup.
