The Citroen C3 has been released: Here's everything you need to know.

 

Citroen has launched its second product for the Indian market, the C3, with a starting price of Rs 5.70 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The vehicle is primarily offered in two variants: Live and Feel. The Feel variant also comes in Vibe pack, dual-tone, dual-tone Vibe pack, and Turbo dual-tone Vibe pack variations. Vibe pack: Zesty Orange, Vibe pack: Platinum Grey, and Elegance pack: Chrome are the three customisation options available from the automaker (dealer installed). Surprisingly, these packs come with 56 different customization options. The vehicle is also available with two engine options: Puretech 82 and Puretech 110.

Exterior 

The Citroen C3 comes in four monotone and six dual-tone colour schemes. Polar White, Zesty Orange, Platinum Grey, and Steel Grey are among the monotone colour options. The dual-tone colour option, on the other hand, is available in the following combinations: Zesty Orange roof with Polar White/Platinum Grey/Steel Grey body colours and Platinum Grey roof with Polar White/Zesty Orange/Steel Grey body colours.

The vehicle has an SUV stance and stands tall. Furthermore, the fascia is distinguished by a high bonnet design flanked by dual-LED DRLs. The vehicle also has dual chrome chevrons with chrome extensions in the front grille, which adds to its sporty appearance. The side profile is defined by strong wheel arches and fluid lines, which give it a distinct personality. The tail lights in the back are squared. The Puretech 82 engine option comes with 14-inch steel wheels, while the Puretech 110 engine option comes with 15-inch steel wheels.

Interior

The interior of the Citroen C3 is available in two colours: Anodized Orange and Anodized Grey. The vehicle comes with a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a steering wheel with audio and phone controls, a glossy black outer ring on the side AC vents, and satin chrome inside door handles, depending on the variant.

Engine

The Citroen C3 has two petrol engine options under the hood. The Puretech 82 is powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder NA engine that generates 80bhp at 5,750rpm and 115Nm of torque at 3,750rpm. This engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. This engine is claimed to have a fuel efficiency of 19.8kmpl.

The Puretech 110, on the other hand, is powered by a 1.2-litre turbo engine that produces 109bhp at 5,500rpm and 190Nm of torque at 1,750rpm. This engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission. The engine is claimed to have a fuel efficiency of 19.4kmpl.
