The new Maruti Suzuki Brezza has received 45,000 bookings.
Maruti Suzuki introduced the new Brezza in India, with a starting price of Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Pre-orders for the updated compact SUV began on June 20, and the carmaker has now announced that the model has received over 45,000 bookings. The 2022 Brezza comes in four trim levels and six exterior colours.
Maruti has updated the exterior of the Brezza with a new front grille, sleeker headlamp units with integrated dual J-shaped DRLs, and LED fog lamps. The wheel arches that house the dual-tone alloy wheels now have thicker plastic cladding. A larger rear quarter glass, a shark fin antenna, and split LED tail lamps are among the other changes.
The Brezza's redesigned cabin features a new free-standing nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a heads-up display, a 360-degree camera, an electric sunroof, and wireless charging. The dual-tone black and brown theme on the dashboard gives the cabin a premium appearance. The SUV also includes Suzuki Connect connected car technology.
A 1.5-litre petrol engine with DualJet Dual VVT and idle start/stop technology powers the Maruti Suzuki Brezza. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a six-speed automatic transmission.
