  The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza will go on sale in India on June 30. The Indian automaker recently began bookings for the updated model in the country, with 4,500 bookings on the first day alone. According to a leaked document, the Maruti Brezza 2022 will be available in four variants: LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+.   After much anticipation, Mahindra has launched the Scorpio-N in India at an introductory price of Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The introductory prices are only valid for the first 25,000 bookings. Currently, the company has only announced the prices for manual transmission variant options, with automatic variants and 4x4 options to follow on July 21. Mahindra Alturas G4 2WD variant delisted; discontinued?

  Mahindra has quietly discontinued the Alturas G4's base 2WD variant. The Mahindra Alturas G4 SUV is now only available in 4WD and costs Rs 31.88 lakh (ex-showroom). It should be noted that the Indian carmaker's full-sized SUV received its most recent update in April 2020, when the 2.2-litre diesel engine was tweaked to meet BS6 emission standards. The base variant lacked features such as LED fog lamps, ambient lighting, an electric sunroof, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, a 360-degree camera, memory function for the driver seat, and a powered tailgate. The Alturas G4 is powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine that produces 178bhp and 420Nm of torque. A seven-speed automatic transmission sends power to all four wheels. The Mahindra Alturas G4 rivals the likes of  Toyota Fortuner ,  Skoda Kodiaq ,  Jeep Meridian , and  MG Gloster . 

Mahindra Scorpio-N Automatic and 4x4 variant prices to be announced on 21 July

  Mahindra has unveiled the all-new Scorpio-N and announced pricing for select variants beginning at Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The Scorpio-N is available in Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8, and Z8L variants, with the features listed below. The prices of the six-seat variants, automatic versions, and the top-of-the-line 4Xplor, on the other hand, have yet to be announced. These are set to be revealed on July 21. The six-speed automatic transmission is compatible with both the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and the 2.2-litre diesel engines. While the gasoline version will remain rear-wheel-drive, the diesel version will feature Mahindra's 4Xplor four-wheel-drive system. Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder teased again; to be unveiled later this week

  Toyota has released another teaser for the upcoming Urban Cruiser Hyryder ahead of its public debut on July 1. The model will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq in the mid-size SUV segment. The new Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder will feature a thick single-slat grille with a faux carbon-fibre finish and a chrome insert, split headlamps, a projector headlight, a honey-comb design for the air vents, a silver skid plate, and black elements such as the ORVMs and A-pillar, as seen in the teaser image.   Mahindra, India's most popular utility vehicle manufacturer, has launched the Scorpio-N at an introductory price of Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The vehicle is available in five different configurations: Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8, and Z8L. It's worth noting that the introductory prices only apply to the first 25,000 reservations. The company has only announced prices for manual transmission variants; prices for automatic and 4x4 variants will be announced on July 21, 2022. Bookings for the Scorpio-N will begin on July 30 at 11 a.m., and interested customers can book the vehicle through Mahindra dealerships or the official website. The new model will be available for test drives in stages, beginning on 5 July in 30 cities and expanding to the rest of the country by 15 July. The new Mahindra Scorpio N is powered by a 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol engine with 200bhp and 370Nm of torque (380Nm for AT). A 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine with 130bhp and 300Nm of torque, as well as 172bhp and 370 Nm of torque, is also available (400Nm for AT). Six-speed manual and automatic transmissions are available.
