The car manufacturer stated that an increase in input costs has had a negative impact on vehicle manufacturing costs over the last year. The company also stated that the price increase will vary depending on the model variants. The model-specific increase has yet to be disclosed by the automaker, but it is expected to be known in the coming weeks. This is the carmaker's second price increase in 2022, with the first occurring in January 2022. Currently, the brand's portfolio includes 14 vehicles ranging from the Alto (Rs 3.25 lakh, ex-showroom) to the XL6 (Rs 10.14 lakh, ex-showroom). The bookings for the Hilux also commenced for Rs1 lakh while the deliveries were scheduled to begin from March. Now, the  Toyota Hilux  has started to arrive at the local dealerships across the country hinting that the launch of the pick-up could just be around the corner.  The feature highlights of the Hilux include cruise control, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, tilt and telescopic adjustment for the steering, a cooled glovebox, a power-adjustable driver seat, and two drive modes.
